INSTALLING A THREADED INSERTTo install a threaded insert (holding the wing on an Aero or Maas 24): 1. Remove the bolt from the threaded insert. 2. Put a couple of drops of the threadlocker on the inside diameter of the hole in the boat 3. Place the insert on the hole (slotted side up) and gently screw insert into place to just below the level of the deck. 4. Let sit for a couple of hours (to be on the safe side) before installing the wing. |
